About me
I am a third year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Arindam Banerjee. I also closely work with Aadirupa Saha. In the past I obtained a Master’s degree from the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the Indian Institute of Science, working with Shalabh Bhatnagar and Gugan Thoppe.
I am broadly interested in Machine Learning with an emphasis on Sequential decision making under uncertainty. I am currently interested in the following research threads:
- Neural Contextual Bandits
- Active Learning and optimal design for Fine-tuning
- Online Learning under resource constraints
- Reinforcement Learning
- Deep Learning: Optimization, Generalization, and Geometry
